However, they are unaware that this is the magic of an evil, yet beautiful witch named Nimueh. But can Arthur and Merlin unearth the true cause before Gwen is executed for witchcraft?

Merlin Episode 6 - "A Remedy to Cure All Ills"

A new court doctor named Edwin arrives, putting Dr. Gaius's job at risk.A mysterious man named Edwin apparently saves Morgana from a serious illness, and puts Gaius's position as court physician at risk. However, Gaius has reason to believe Edwin's past is linked to the darkest time in Camelot's history...and that he has dark plans for Uther and Merlin.

A druid and his boy are caught in Camelot and soon try to escape from the guards. Merlin soon hears the boy's telepathic cry for help. The guards find the druid who is soon executed, leaving the boy all on his own.

Arthur kills a unicorn and as everybody cheers for him, except Merlin, a curse arrives in Camelot, which could see the end of the city. Merlin and Arthur must now pass the tests of Anhora, Keeper of the Unicorns, if they're to have any chance of saving Camelot.

Merlin Episode 12 - "To Kill the King"

Gwen's father, Tom, helps a sorcerer named Tauren turn lead into gold using a magic stone. As Tauren escapes, Tom is caught and will await trial. Whilst looking for Gwen, Morgana finds the magic stone, and Merlin can sense it. When Tom is killed by Uther, Morgana is out for revenge on Uther.

Merlin Episode 13 - "Le Morte d'Arthur"

On a hunting trip, Arthur comes face to face with a creature of great power from the old religion. When Gaius informs them that it can only be killed by magic, Uther refuses to listen and sends out his knights to kill it. Arthur is fatally wounded and Merlin must go to the Isle of the Blessed to save him. But will he be able to pay the price?
